Look, this is what it is: a forgettable Netflix comedy that exists solely to fill time. The critics panned it (43% on Rotten Tomatoes), audiences were lukewarm (47%), and even generous platforms like IMDb only gave it a 6.1. It's not offensively bad, but it's aggressively mediocre.
For teens 13+, it's harmless—no graphic violence, no heavy themes, just a paint-by-numbers murder mystery wrapped in Adam Sandler's signature low-effort comedy. But there's zero enrichment here, minimal imagination, and the wholesome factor is undercut by constant bickering and dated humor.
If your teen wants something mindless on a Friday night, fine. But don't expect them to remember it by Saturday morning. There are so many better options out there.
