Marvel's Wolverine is a triumph of game design, but it’s definitely not a 'family' game. Insomniac has leaned into the grit, creating a masterpiece for fans who have grown up with the character and want to see his darker side explored without the PG-13 safety rails.
It’s a linear, polished, and brutal ride. If you’re looking for something wholesome to play with the kids, go back to Spider-Man. But if you want a heavy-hitting story about a man trying to find his humanity while using his least-human attributes, this is the best it gets in 2026.
