This is fine. That's the verdict: fine.
Marvel's Avengers Assemble is the kind of show you put on when your 7-year-old is obsessed with superheroes and you need something safer than the actual Marvel movies. It checks the boxes—teamwork, heroes, action—without being particularly memorable or well-crafted.
The problem is it's now over a decade old and feels it. The animation is serviceable but dated, the storylines are predictable, and there's nothing here that stands out from the dozen other Marvel animated series. It's comfort food television: you know exactly what you're getting, and that's both its strength and weakness.
If your kid is 6-8 and deep in their Marvel phase, sure, throw it on. But don't expect them to remember a single episode a year from now. There are better animated superhero shows out there (Batman: The Animated Series, even the earlier Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes), but those might be harder to find. This one's on Disney+, it's safe, it'll keep them entertained for 22 minutes.
Just don't expect anyone to be enriched by the experience.
