Lost and Found is a deep dive for the kid who wants their sci-fi with a side of heavy metal and existential dread. It's set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe, which means it skips the hopeful 'Star Trek' vibes and goes straight to 'everything is on fire and we're out of fire extinguishers.'
If they love 'Progression' stories—where a character starts with nothing and slowly levels up—this is a solid pick, but be ready for some gnarly descriptions of cybernetic 'enhancements.' It's creative and vast, but it's definitely not a feel-good read.
