Locket is basically the 'anti-social' social app, and that’s a good thing. It takes the core appeal of Snapchat—sending quick, goofy updates to friends—and removes the public stories, the discovery page, and the constant push for 'clout.'
By tethering the experience to a home screen widget and a tiny friend list, it keeps interactions grounded in real-world relationships. It’s not going to teach your kid to code or solve world hunger, but as far as digital hangouts go, it’s a much cleaner, more human neighborhood than most of what’s on the App Store in 2026.
