Little Longnose is a deep cut from 2003 that holds up surprisingly well if you appreciate traditional hand-drawn animation. It’s a Russian production, so it carries a slightly darker, more atmospheric tone than your average Dreamworks flick, which actually gives the story some real weight.
While the animation isn't as fluid as modern standards, the story of Jacob and Greta is genuinely touching. It’s a solid pick for a family movie night when you want something that feels like an actual fairytale—complete with the slightly scary bits that make the happy ending feel earned.
