LEGO Masters is that rare reality competition that doesn't rely on manufactured drama or people being terrible to each other. It's just genuinely talented people building cool stuff with unlimited bricks while Will Arnett makes dad jokes.
The show hits all the right notes: it's inspiring without being preachy, competitive without being mean, and showcases real creativity and engineering. Kids will immediately want to build after watching, which is exactly the kind of screen-to-real-world pipeline you want.
The only real downside? Your kids will absolutely lobby for more LEGO sets. The show's unlimited brick supply is basically brick porn for young builders. But honestly, as far as 'things my kid wants after watching TV' goes, LEGO is pretty high on the acceptable list.
It's modern enough (2020) to feel current, the production values are solid, and it moves at a good pace. This is genuinely good family viewing that you won't hate watching together.
