Learning A-Z (and its popular Raz-Kids/Raz-Plus components) is the educational equivalent of vitamins. It’s not a thrill ride, and it won't replace the magic of sitting down with a physical copy of Dog Man or Harry Potter, but it does exactly what it says on the tin: it helps kids practice reading.
From a safety perspective, it's a gold standard. You don't have to worry about ads, weird YouTube-style algorithms, or strangers in the DMs. The trade-off is that it's very 'schooly.' If your kid is already doing this for 20 minutes at school, doing another 20 at home might feel like a grind. Use it as a supplement for decoding practice, but don't let it be their only interaction with stories.
