Look, if you’re looking for a hardcore challenge, keep walking. This is the gaming equivalent of a warm hug and a bowl of Lucky Charms. It’s arguably the easiest Kirby game ever made, which makes it perfect for a four-year-old’s first go at a controller, but might leave a ten-year-old yawning if they play solo.
The real magic is the 4-player co-op. It’s a chaotic, colorful mess that actually rewards kids for working together rather than competing for the high score. Just be prepared for the ending—Kirby games always start with a quest for cake and end with fighting a literal manifestation of void and despair. It’s a whole vibe, but a safe one.
