Harvest Moon: The Winds of Anthos is the digital equivalent of a weighted blanket. It’s safe, cozy, and predictable in the best way possible. While it doesn't have the cultural 'cool factor' of Stardew Valley, it's actually a bit more accessible for younger players because it lacks the combat and some of the more mature relationship themes found in other sims.
It’s not going to win any awards for edge-of-your-seat excitement. In fact, some parts are downright tedious. But if you want a game that rewards nurturing things rather than blowing them up, this is a top-tier choice. Just be prepared for your kid to ask for a pet raptor.
