Greenhouse Academy is the TV equivalent of empty calories—not harmful, mildly entertaining for the right age group, but not particularly nourishing either.
It's an Israeli remake that Netflix picked up, set at an elite boarding school with competing 'houses' (yes, very Harry Potter-adjacent) and a mystery thread that gets buried under layers of 'who likes who' drama. The STEM academy setting is mostly window dressing; don't expect your kid to come away inspired to build robots or study biology.
The IMDb 6.6/10 tells the real story: it's fine. Watchable. Forgettable. If your 11-year-old is looking for something to binge that won't give you a heart attack when you walk into the room, this fits the bill. But there are better teen shows out there (The Worst Witch, Anne with an E, even Alexa & Katie) that deliver more substance alongside the drama.
Four seasons means Netflix saw enough viewership to keep it going, so clearly some kids connected with it. But 'good enough to not cancel' isn't exactly a ringing endorsement.
