Good Omens is a rare gem. Even though it was written in 1990, it doesn't feel like a 'relic' because the humor is timeless and the pacing is snappy.
It’s the opposite of brain rot. It’s sophisticated, funny as hell, and actually has something to say about why being human is a pretty good gig. If your kid is starting to get into fantasy or likes stuff that’s a little bit 'weird' and smart, this is a must-read.
Don't let the 'apocalypse' theme scare you off—it’s way more about friendship and choosing your own path than it is about fire and brimstone.
