Look, G-Force is not good. With a 22% critic score and a 40% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes, this is one of those Disney movies that even Disney would rather you forget about.
The premise—guinea pigs as secret agents fighting a villain whose evil plan involves household appliances—sounds quirky but plays out as chaotic and nonsensical. The CGI was mediocre even in 2009 and looks worse now. The humor is mostly bodily functions and pratfalls. The pacing is relentless in a way that's exhausting rather than exciting.
It's safe, sure. Your 6-year-old won't have nightmares. But they also won't remember anything about it a week later, and you'll be checking your watch wondering when the 88 minutes will be up. There are so many better family movies on Disney+—Encanto, Moana, even the live-action Jungle Book—that this one really only makes sense if your kid is specifically obsessed with guinea pigs or you've literally exhausted every other option.
The critical consensus is clear: this is forgettable, noisy filler. If you're looking for quality family time, keep scrolling.
