Look, DMV is trying to be the next workplace comedy hit, but with a 5.9 IMDb rating and 53% audience score, it's landing somewhere between 'meh' and 'why bother.' The premise—lovable misfits at the DMV—has been done better in Parks and Rec, The Office, and basically every other workplace sitcom.
It's safe enough for teens (mild language, workplace frustration), and there's something to be said for showing empathy toward service workers. But is it worth your family's screen time? Probably not. There are dozens of better sitcoms that deliver the same 'finding community in a thankless job' message with actual laughs and heart.
If your teen is desperate for new sitcom content and has exhausted everything else on Paramount+, sure, give it a shot. But don't expect anyone to be quoting it at the dinner table.
