Custom Cursor (or Clicky) is one of those 'neat' utilities that kids find cool because it changes the 'vibe' of their device. It's largely harmless in terms of content—you're just picking out a tiny pixelated cat or a sword to replace your touch-point.
However, the 'Safety' score takes a hit because of the permissions. To work, this app needs to live in the Accessibility settings, which gives it the power to see everything on the screen and simulate touches. If you’re okay with a small dev having that level of access to your kid's phone data for the sake of a cute pointer, go for it. Otherwise, it's a lot of risk for very little reward.
