Look, it’s 2026. Unless your kid is a gaming historian or you’re doing a retro night on a dusty Xbox 360, this isn’t the move. The 2011 Modern Warfare 3 was a legend in its time, but today it feels like a relic. The campaign is a loud, violent blur, and the multiplayer is a ghost town occasionally inhabited by hackers and people who never stopped shouting into their headsets since middle school.
That said, the Spec Ops co-op mode is still a genuine blast if you play it locally. It’s one of the few ways to get a 'real' gaming experience that rewards actual communication. If you already own it, fine—but don't go hunting for it when the 2023 reboot (and everything after) offers the same thrills with better safety tools and modern polish.
