Here's the thing: BTS as a group is genuinely impressive—thoughtful lyrics, killer performances, positive messaging. But this fan-run channel is a different beast. It's a curated highlight reel for people already deep in the fandom, not a safe on-ramp for curious kids.
The bigger issue? It's YouTube. Even if the videos themselves are fine, the comments section is unmoderated fandom chaos, and the algorithm will drag your kid into an endless scroll of fan edits, reaction videos, and stan culture. If your tween is already ARMY, fine—they're going to find this stuff anyway. But if they're just discovering K-pop, steer them toward official channels or curated playlists where you have a bit more control.
Bottom line: BTS content can be enriching and fun, but a fan-managed YouTube channel is not the hill to die on. Set boundaries, check in on screen time, and maybe watch a few videos together so you understand what they're into.
