BioShock 2 often gets overshadowed by its predecessor, but it actually polishes the gameplay to a mirror finish. You play as a prototype Big Daddy, which sounds cool until you realize you’re basically a tragic, lumbering tank in a city that's literally falling apart around you.
It’s dark, it’s wet, and it’s deeply violent. But if your teen is into deep world-building and doesn't mind a lot of blood, it’s a masterclass in environmental storytelling. Just don't expect a happy-go-lucky time; Rapture is where dreams go to drown, and this game makes sure you feel every bit of that pressure.
