Tree Fu Tom is basically Dora the Explorer with a superhero coat of paint and a heavy emphasis on physical therapy. It’s one of the few shows that actually tries to combat the 'screen zombie' effect by making the audience participate in the action.
While the 2012-era CGI won't win any beauty contests today, the heart of the show is solid. It’s a low-stimulation, high-activity choice that is perfect for rainy days when your preschooler has too much energy and you need them to burn it off in a controlled, non-destructive way.
