The time-travel medallion premise has potential, but the execution is clearly lacking - low budget, dated effects, and a story that can't hold attention. It's available on a million free streaming platforms, which should tell you something about its market value.
Is it safe? Sure. Will your kids learn something about courage and friendship? Maybe, if they stay awake. But in a world where you could watch Indiana Jones, National Treasure, or literally any Pixar movie instead, there's no compelling reason to choose this one.
