Look, I'm just going to level with you: this movie is bad. Not 'so bad it's good' bad—just forgettable, poorly-executed bad. A 22% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes and 2.1/5 on Letterboxd tells you everything you need to know.
The premise—best friend murdered on camera, protagonist hunted by killers—could work in capable hands. These are not capable hands. The violence is graphic enough to warrant a 16+ rating, but the story is generic enough that even teens who love thrillers will be checking their phones.
There are approximately 47,000 better ways to spend 90 minutes. Watch The Descent if you want claustrophobic survival horror. Watch Cliffhanger if you want rock-climbing action. Watch literally anything else if you value your time. This one's a skip.
