Look, The Croods: Family Tree is the definition of 'fine.' It's not going to rot anyone's brain, but it's also not going to inspire much beyond 22 minutes of quiet.
DreamWorks took a decent movie concept and did what streaming services do best: stretched it into episodic content that didn't really need to exist. The cooperation and community themes are nice, and the prehistoric setting keeps everything cartoonishly safe, but that 6.8 IMDB rating is generous.
If your kids are already Croods fans and you need something harmless on Hulu, go for it. But if you're looking for quality family viewing that'll actually engage everyone? Keep scrolling.
