This is fine. That's the whole review, really—it's fine.
Princess Power does what it sets out to do: give preschoolers a gentle, colorful show about teamwork and friendship wrapped in princess packaging. It's safe, it's wholesome, and it won't rot anyone's brain. The fruit-kingdom concept is mildly clever, and the show includes diverse families without making a big production of it.
But that 4.7 IMDb rating isn't lying. This is forgettable Netflix Kids content that parents will tolerate rather than enjoy. It's not annoying enough to ban, not good enough to recommend enthusiastically. If your 4-year-old wants to watch it, sure. If they don't, you're not missing anything.
The LGBTQ representation is the only thing that makes this show notable—Plugged In and some Common Sense Media parents flag it as a concern, while others praise it. For most 2025 families, it's a non-issue: the show treats same-sex parents and weddings as unremarkable, which they are.
