If you're looking for a gritty, Belgian take on The Wire, this is a decent enough watch for your own post-bedtime viewing. It’s a character-driven look at a man who gets a second chance and immediately starts looking for ways to blow it.
For the kids? Hard pass. Between the cocaine smuggling and the depressing realism of the Antwerp docks, there’s nothing here for them. It’s a mid-tier crime drama that’s worth a look if you’ve already exhausted the top-tier European noirs, but don't expect a masterpiece.
