Here's the deal: this movie has killer reviews and is clearly made with love and creativity, but it's absolutely not for kids or teens. The 17+ rating is real.
If you're a parent who enjoyed Flight of the Conchords, Nathan For You, or other deadpan absurdist comedy, and you have a free evening after the kids are asleep, this could be a delightful discovery. The critical acclaim is legitimate—100% on Rotten Tomatoes doesn't happen by accident.
But for Screenwise purposes (helping you find great content for your family), this scores lower because it's simply not family-appropriate. It's a well-made adult comedy with a narrow target audience. Great for what it is, just not what most parents are looking for when they open this app.
