15 Storeys High is a cult masterpiece that hasn't aged a day in terms of its comedy, even if the video quality looks like it was filmed through a wet sock. It’s the antithesis of the 'hangout' sitcom; instead of friends you want to have, it’s about the neighbor you’re terrified of becoming.
If you have a teen who has graduated from The Office and wants something darker and more 'indie,' this is the move. It’s surreal, it’s claustrophobic, and it’s one of the best things to ever come out of the UK comedy scene. Just don't expect any hugs or lessons learned by the end of the half-hour.
