Look, this is a Nickelodeon TV movie sequel to a show that ended in 2018. If your kid was obsessed with the original Thundermans series, they'll probably enjoy seeing the characters again. For everyone else? It's 90 minutes of forgettable superhero hijinks that won't offend but also won't impress.
The ratings tell the story: a 5.0 on IMDb and 2.3 on Letterboxd means even the target audience found it pretty meh. It's safe, it won't rot their brain, but it's not going to enrich their lives either. Think of it as the cinematic equivalent of plain oatmeal—fine if you're hungry, but nobody's asking for seconds.
If you need something to keep the kids occupied on a rainy afternoon and you've exhausted better options, sure. But don't feel bad about steering them toward literally anything else on your watchlist.
