Look, this is a niche film for a specific audience. If you've got a high schooler obsessed with UFC history or who's wrestling with understanding addiction and mental health in athletes, this could be valuable viewing. The ratings are... fine. Not great, not terrible. 70% on RT and a 6.5 on IMDb tells you it's competently made but not transcendent.
The real question is: does anyone under 18 actually want to watch a heavy biopic about an MMA fighter from the '90s they've never heard of? Probably not unless they're deep into combat sports. For adults who remember Kerr or are interested in the sport's early days, it's a solid watch. For everyone else, it's a pass.
The violence is graphic, the themes are dark, and the entertainment value is... moderate. It's not going to change your life, but it might give you a new appreciation for how brutal early MMA was and what these fighters sacrificed.
