This is DLC for DLC people—if your teen is already deep in The Sims 4 ecosystem and obsessed with supernatural content, werewolves add a fresh layer of roleplay possibilities. The transformation mechanics, pack dynamics, and new world offer decent creative expansion.
That said, the 55/100 IGDB rating tells you what you need to know: this isn't essential content. Parent reviews consistently recommend 13+ due to the same suggestive themes that run through all Sims content, plus the added intensity of werewolf lore and supernatural romance. It's not inappropriate, just firmly teen territory.
The real question is whether your family wants to keep feeding EA's endless DLC machine. This pack doesn't have its own in-game purchases, which is good, but it's one piece of a very expensive puzzle. If your teen is already invested and loves supernatural themes, it's a reasonable addition. If they're lukewarm on The Sims or you're trying to avoid DLC creep, skip it.
