Here's the truth: The Legend of Tarzan is fine. It's safe, it's wholesome, it won't rot anyone's brain. But it's also a 24-year-old TV spinoff of a movie that wasn't even that memorable, and it shows.
The 6.7 IMDb rating tells you everything—it's aggressively mediocre. The animation is stiff, the pacing is slow by modern standards, and the plots are predictable Disney TV fare. If you've got a 6-year-old who's obsessed with the 1999 movie, sure, throw this on. But don't expect them to stay engaged for long.
The WISE components are decent enough—it's safe, reasonably wholesome, has some imaginative jungle settings. But the watchability factor in 2025 is rough. There are so many better animated shows that also hit these marks while actually being entertaining. This is the kind of show that gets two episodes in before your kid asks 'Can we watch something else?'
Bottom line: Not harmful, just forgettable. Save yourself the battle and find something from this decade.
