If your kid liked 'Shelter,' this is a mandatory follow-up. Coben is the king of the 'unputdownable' thriller, and this series is a fantastic gateway for kids who think reading is boring.
It’s smart, punchy, and respects the reader's intelligence. While it deals with some darker themes like addiction and conspiracy, it’s a far cry from 'brain rot' and actually gets those gears turning. It's a solid win for the 12+ crowd.
