Here's the deal: this is a forgettable, poorly-reviewed thriller that tries to remake a 1994 film and doesn't succeed. The 5.4 IMDb rating is brutal and tells you everything—audiences found it flat and uninspired.
The white-water rafting premise sounds exciting, but the execution apparently falls short. It's got the typical thriller violence and peril, making it inappropriate for kids and younger teens, but it's also just not good enough to recommend for the older crowd who could handle the content.
There are dozens of better thrillers out there. Unless you've literally exhausted every other option on your streaming service and need background noise while folding laundry, skip this one. Life's too short for 5.4-rated movies.
