Mushoku Tensei is the 'Grandfather of Isekai' for a reason. The fantasy elements are airtight and the stakes feel real. However, it comes with a massive asterisk: the protagonist is a former shut-in who carries some very gross habits into his new life.
If you can get past the 'creepy Rudy' moments, there is a profound story here about the hard work of becoming a decent human being. But let’s be clear—this isn't a wholesome 'Narnia' adventure. It’s gritty, it’s horny, and it’s complicated. Keep it away from the middle schoolers.
