Let's be crystal clear: this is not a family movie, not a teen movie, not even close. This is explicit adult stand-up comedy with profanity, sexual content, and cynical humor about aging and life.
Beyond the content itself, Louis C.K.'s career imploded in 2017 when he admitted to sexual misconduct—behavior that makes recommending his work complicated at best. The comedy itself might have been well-regarded at the time (hence the 8.3 IMDb rating), but it comes with baggage that's impossible to ignore.
For Screenwise purposes: this scores extremely low because it has zero application to children or family viewing. If you're an adult looking for stand-up comedy, there are dozens of brilliant comedians without the ethical complications. Skip this one.
