LiveOverflow is one of the rare YouTube channels that's genuinely educational without being dumbed down. If your teen is already coding, interested in how systems work, or talking about cybersecurity careers, this is gold. It's methodical, ethical, and teaches real skills.
That said, this is not for casual viewers or younger kids. The content is dense, technical, and requires both prerequisite knowledge and the maturity to understand that these techniques have serious legal consequences if misused. You're not watching for entertainment—you're studying.
The bigger question: do you want your kid on YouTube at all? Even great channels feed the algorithm beast. If they're genuinely using this for learning (maybe alongside a CS course or personal project), it's fantastic. If it's just another tab in a browser full of distractions, maybe point them toward structured courses instead.
