Look, I'm not going to sugarcoat this: a 1.6 IMDb rating is catastrophically bad. That's in 'worst movies ever made' territory. Even at the height of Bieber-mania, critics and audiences found this concert doc boring and self-indulgent.
Is it safe for kids? Sure. It's basically just concert footage and backstage clips. Will they want to watch it? Unless your kid is doing a cultural anthropology project on early 2010s teen pop phenomena, probably not.
The WISE score here suffers not because it's harmful—it's perfectly fine content-wise—but because it's just not good, not relevant, and not something modern kids would choose to watch. There are hundreds of better music documentaries, concert films, and even YouTube videos that would be more engaging and enriching.
If your kid is genuinely curious about Justin Bieber's career, maybe watch a 10-minute YouTube retrospective instead. You'll get the same information in a fraction of the time, and nobody has to sit through 92 minutes of 2013 fan footage.
