Look, it’s not Shakespeare, but it’s the 'Goosebumps' of this generation. It’s dark, it’s weird, and it’s a lot better than them watching ten hours of FNAF theory videos on YouTube.
It’s a solid way to get a kid to sit still with a physical book. The story is surprisingly heavy on themes of grief and memory, so it’s not just jump-scares on paper. If they’re already into the games, this is a no-brainer. If they’re sensitive to 'creepy' stuff, maybe skip it until they’re a bit older.
