Let's be real: this is a hard pass for families and a questionable choice even for adults looking for a good comedy special.
Handler's brand of shock-value humor is firmly adults-only (Common Sense Media agrees with their 18+ rating), packed with explicit content that would be wildly inappropriate for kids. But here's the thing—even setting aside the family angle, this special just isn't very good. A 5.9 on IMDb and 3.1 on Letterboxd tells you that even Handler's target audience wasn't impressed.
The 2014 vintage doesn't help either. Comedy specials age poorly when they rely more on shock than substance, and a decade later, this feels both dated and disposable. If you're an adult who loves Handler's specific brand of raunchy storytelling, maybe you'll get some laughs. But for most people—and certainly for anyone looking for family-friendly content—there are about a thousand better ways to spend 90 minutes on Netflix.
