Look, Catscratch is one of those forgotten Nickelodeon cartoons from 2005 that aired for one season and disappeared for good reason. It's not offensive or harmful—just aggressively mediocre.
The premise (rich cats having wacky adventures) had potential, but the execution is all frenetic energy, lowbrow slapstick, and characters yelling at each other. Mr. Blik is mean, Waffle is annoying, and Gordon is the only one with brain cells. The animation style is distinctive but not in a good way—it's that mid-2000s 'let's make everything angular and loud' aesthetic that hasn't aged well.
The IMDB rating of 6.6 tells you everything: even fans were lukewarm. If your kid stumbles across this on streaming, it won't rot their brain more than any other cartoon from that era, but there's absolutely no reason to seek it out. There are dozens of better options that are actually entertaining, enriching, or both.
Verdict: Safe but skippable. This is the cartoon equivalent of empty calories—it won't hurt them, but it won't help them either.
