Let's be real: this is a hard pass for everyone.
It's obviously not for kids—the 15+ rating, Bill Burr's brand of comedy, and the 'raucous' descriptor make that clear. But here's the kicker: even adults hated it. An 11% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes is genuinely impressive in how bad it is. A 4.6 on IMDb? A 2.5 out of 5 on Letterboxd? These are numbers that scream 'we tried to turn it off but Netflix kept autoplaying.'
Bill Burr's own specials can be sharp and insightful, but this showcase format clearly didn't work. When you're curating other comics and the result is universally panned, something went very wrong. The jokes probably didn't land, the material felt stale or offensive without being clever, or the whole thing just reeked of Netflix throwing content at the wall.
If you're looking for quality stand-up, there are dozens of better specials on Netflix. This one's a skip for parents, teens, and pretty much anyone who values their time.
