A.P. Bio is a decent sitcom with a fundamentally problematic premise: a narcissistic teacher who weaponizes his classroom. The show has moments of genuine humor and heart, especially as it progresses, but it's hard to get past the fact that we're supposed to root for someone actively failing his students.
The critical scores are solid (88% on RT) because the writing is sharp and Glenn Howerton commits fully to the bit. But from a WISE perspective? It's mediocre. Not wholesome (the guy's a selfish jerk), not particularly imaginative (standard sitcom beats), somewhat safe for older teens but with enough adult content to keep younger kids away, and definitely not enriching (unless 'watch adults behave badly' counts as a life lesson).
If your high schooler loves sarcastic humor and understands satire, they'll probably enjoy it. But if you're looking for something that models good behavior or actually teaches anything... keep scrolling. This is junk food TV—occasionally tasty, but zero nutritional value.
