Look, let's be honest: this movie exists because Disney wanted to milk the High School Musical franchise for one more direct-to-video release, and even the target audience wasn't buying it. A 4.8 on IMDb and 44% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes tells you everything—this is the kind of movie kids will tolerate if it's on during a playdate, not something they'll actually request.
The WISE components are fine on paper—it's safe, has basic positive messages, and won't rot anyone's brain. But it's also aggressively boring, predictable, and lacks any spark of creativity or genuine entertainment value. The "fabulous adventure" is neither fabulous nor much of an adventure.
If your kid is obsessed with High School Musical and needs to complete the collection, fine. But there are dozens of better Disney movies on the same platform that will actually hold their attention and maybe even teach them something meaningful. This one's a skip unless you've literally exhausted every other option.
