Look, if you're a die-hard Russell Howard fan, you probably already watched this in 2017. For everyone else in 2025, this is a hard pass.
The problem isn't just that it's adult content (though it absolutely is—keep the kids far away). It's that stand-up comedy, especially political comedy, has a shelf life shorter than grocery store sushi. What felt edgy or relevant in 2017 now feels like watching someone explain why everyone's freaking out about fidget spinners.
The ratings are middling (64% on RT, which is basically a 'meh'), and even fans of Howard's TV work might find this less sharp than his other material. There are dozens of better comedy specials from the past few years that will feel fresher and land harder.
Unless you're doing a 'remember 2017?' nostalgia trip, your Netflix time is better spent elsewhere.
