Here's the thing: time-loop movies can be brilliant (see: Palm Springs, Edge of Tomorrow) or they can be slogs. This one, unfortunately, lands closer to slog territory.
The 4.0 IMDb rating and 2.6 Letterboxd score tell the real story—this is a noble effort made under lockdown constraints, but good intentions don't make a movie watchable. The premise is fine, the iPhone gimmick is interesting from a filmmaking perspective, but execution matters, and reviews suggest this drags and never quite delivers on its mystery.
If you've got a teen who's really into indie sci-fi and can appreciate low-budget filmmaking as an art form, maybe. But for most families looking for quality time-loop entertainment, there are way better options. The fact that it's on every free streaming platform known to humanity is both convenient and telling.
