Look, this is the kind of show that exists because Nickelodeon needed content to fill afternoon slots in 2007. It's a spinoff of the movie 'Barnyard' (which wasn't great to begin with), and it shows.
The 5.8 IMDB rating tells you everything you need to know - even kids and nostalgic adults don't think this is particularly good. The animation is dated, the humor relies heavily on burps and slapstick, and the main character is literally described as avoiding responsibility to party constantly.
Is it safe? Sure. Will it rot their brains? Not more than any other mediocre cartoon. But here's the thing: we're living in a golden age of children's animation. You've got Bluey, Hilda, Avatar, Gravity Falls, and dozens of other shows that are actually good, enriching, and entertaining. Why would you settle for this?
If your kid stumbles onto it and watches an episode, it's fine. But if you're actively choosing what to put on, keep scrolling.
