If you’re already a fan of The Bad Seed or The Good Egg, this is a total win. It’s a solid addition to the Food Group series that handles the 'it’s okay to need help' message without being preachy or boring.
It’s a 'special' edition book, meaning it’s a bit more commercial (hello, stickers!) and less 'deep' than the original entries, but it’s still miles ahead of the generic junk you find in the checkout aisle. It’s sweet, safe, and actually teaches a useful social skill using characters kids already love.
