Project L is a gem. It’s essentially a physical version of a high-speed puzzle app, but without the dopamine-loop predatory garbage.
It’s fast enough to play on a weeknight and pretty enough that you won’t mind it sitting on your coffee table. If you want a game that builds spatial logic without feeling like 'educational' homework, this is a top-tier pick. The Kickstarter Edition adds a 5th player, which is great for larger families.
The box says 13+, but that's mostly for safety testing. Any 8-year-old who can handle a game of Connect 4 or basic Tetris will get the hang of this in ten minutes. It’s a 'forever' game that adults will enjoy just as much as the kids.
