Let's be crystal clear: this is absolutely not for kids, not for teens, not even for young teens who think they're mature enough. Peep Show is an adults-only British sitcom that's genuinely brilliant if you're into dark, cringe comedy.
The first-person POV technique is innovative and the writing is sharp as hell—there's a reason it has a 96% on Rotten Tomatoes. But it's also relentlessly uncomfortable, filled with sexual content, drug use, and characters who are purposefully terrible people making terrible choices.
If you're an adult who loves British comedy like The Office UK or Fleabag's more uncomfortable moments, this might be your jam. But it's a hard pass for family viewing, and frankly, even some adults will find the cringe factor too intense. The WISE score reflects that it's well-made and intelligent, but completely inappropriate for the core Screenwise audience of parents looking for kid-friendly content.
