Let's be real: this movie was critically panned when it came out in 2000, and it hasn't magically improved with age. The premise is tired, the humor is crude and relies heavily on body comedy and dated stereotypes, and the 31% critic score tells you everything you need to know.
The sexual innuendo, bathroom humor, and mean-spirited jokes about appearance make this inappropriate for younger viewers, while older teens will likely find it boring and cringe-inducing. There's virtually no enrichment value—no meaningful themes, no character growth, just cheap laughs that mostly don't land.
If your teen stumbles across this on Starz, they'll probably turn it off within 20 minutes anyway. There are infinitely better comedies from this era (and every era) that are actually worth your time. This is a skip unless you're doing some kind of 'worst of the 2000s' film studies project.
