Look, I'll be straight with you: this is a bad movie that no one needs to watch.

The premise has been done to death (literally) by better films—Running Man, Battle Royale, Hunger Games, even Squid Game on the TV side. Arena Wars brings nothing new to the table except apparently worse execution, given that 2.2/5 Letterboxd rating from genre fans.

It's adults-only for graphic violence, but even adults should probably skip it unless you've somehow watched every other dystopian death-match movie ever made and are desperately scraping the bottom of the barrel. The 5.2 IMDb rating tells you everything: this is forgettable direct-to-streaming filler.

There are so many better ways to spend 90 minutes of your life. This isn't even 'so bad it's good'—it's just mediocre exploitation content that will disappear from cultural memory as quickly as it appeared.
